About our Aftercare Program
iGen’s After School Program provides a safe, secure, and engaging environment for children to enjoy the company of friends while participating in developmentally and age-appropriate activities with a STEM focus. Students will participate in a variety of activities such as: playing games, creating STEM projects, enjoying creative arts, and plenty of playtime to keep kids happy, bright, and healthy.
iGen provides homework help, evening snacks and transportation.

Sessions and Fees
Aftercare is a monthly commitment. Although aftercare is a monthly commitment, the total fee is divided over the 10 month school year. There are no prorated sessions. There is no aftercare when schools are closed. Each quarter, students can choose enrichment activities or clubs to participate for an additional fee.

STEM Activities
Robotics League
FIRST® LEGO® League introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to children ages 4-16 through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Participants gain real-world problem solving experience through a guided, global robotics program, helping today’s students and teachers build a better future together.
Our league will inspire youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills through hands-on STEM learning and robotics.
Drone Club
We will use drones to teach STEAM concepts such as: coding, coding concepts, drone piloting, engineering design process, aerial video and editing and many more to students is an engaging way. While students are entertained, they are completing academically challenging STEM missions that require them to work in teams, fail forward, and explore solutions to real-world problems.

Coding
iGeners will create their own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art through coding. Our curriculum provides iGeners with the platform to develop and apply 21st century skills such as creative thinking, systematic reasoning, and collaboration. The course has many different themes, such as: Animations, Stories, De-bugging, and Game Design.
Aftercare FAQs
Aftercare is a monthly commitment. Once you register, your spot will be saved for the remainder of the school year. Families can cancel their monthly registration, by emailing us two weeks in advance. Billing is processed on the FIRST day of each month.
Early Dismissal Aftercare is an earlier than usual pick up that occurs weekly. For example some schools dismiss at 1pm on Wednesdays; however the rest of the week is regular dismissal.
We transport children in our 12 passenger van or our SUV. Both vehicles are fully equipped with booster seats and 3 point seatbelts.
Yes, we offer a 10% sibling discount for 2nd + child(ren).
Our teachers are attentive individuals, who create a safe welcoming environment for all students. Our teachers are kind and patient. All of our teachers are background checked, CPR certified and understand child development. Each quarter, iGen hosts mandatory professional developments to provide our teachers with the opportunity to learn new skills and enhance their knowledge in early childhood education.
