About Camp

iGen ignites learning in children and enhances their 21st century skills through
project-based learning and digital learning in science, technology, engineering and
math. Campers or as we like to call them, iGeners, will engage in Robotics, Makerspace (STEM Projects), Coding, and Science Experiments (check out “Pathways” on our website for more information). Outside of our awesome pathways, iGeners will have a daily “brain break” where they’ll have recess at our playground or the local park (weather permitting).  Throughout the summer, we’ll sprinkle in some field trips.  We’ll rotate between adventurous, educational and just plain ole fun trips! They’ll also participate in a weekly “special” activity such as soccer, Taekwondo, arts & crafts, yoga, etc

Summer Camp Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register my child?

You can register your child by using the link embedded in the “Register for Camp” button.

What is your refund policy?

Due to limited space, refunds will not be given after May 1. Prior to May 1, families can be refunded their total amount, excluding a service fee. The service fee varies by purchase amount. Families may also receive a credit for the total amount spent, prior to May 1. There will be no proration of fees for any days or times a child participant cannot attend.

How are students grouped?

We’ll split students up by grade bands – for example, grades PreK4-K, 1-2, 3-4.

How do you travel around DC for your field trips?

We may use our van, walk or utilize public transportation. We will always send permission slips home which will give you are exact means of transportation.

My child is really into STEM but has no experience with coding or robotics.

No worries, we will introduce many concepts to campers. Our curriculum is designed to teach and support students on all levels.

Can I schedule a tour?

We highly recommend attending an Open House. You’ll have the opportunity to meet our team and tour our space while your iGener participates in a hands-on activity.  If the dates are not convenient, send us an email.
