Is your child interested in STEAM but you’re not sure which class they’ll actually enjoy?
Well, look no further. During STEAM Saturdays, we’ll introduce Robotics, Coding and Makerspace to your iGener. Our staff will observe your child and recommend the course that seems best fit for your child. We will offer Coding, Robotics and Makerspace clubs in January 2024!

Children are exposed to three STEAM disciplines

Week 1 – Robotics – Students will build and program a series of Lego Education robots; students will also have the opportunity to complete many challenges with their robots.

Week 2 – Computer Science – Students are introduced to computer science using block coding.. Students will create their own games, art and digital stores – all while developing problem-solving, collaboration, persistence, and computational thinking skills. Concepts include sequencing, events, loops, conditionals, binary and digital citizenship.

Week 3 – Makerspace – Students will have the opportunity to explore their own interest, learn to use tools and materials to develop creative projects.
